Come on out, join the fun and learn the art of making stone
tools. We meet at Hart Memorial Park. This location provides lots
of fun with it's 370 acres along Kern River and paddle boats on
Hart Lake.
Directions To Monthly Knapin
From Highway 58 traveling east going out of Bakersfield on the outskirts of town exit Camanche Dr. and turn north (left) If you are traveling 58 west coming into Bakersfield exit Camanche Dr. Turn north (right) Follow Camanche Dr. for 8-9 miles to a stop light (Highway 178) Go straight, the name will change to Alfred Harrel Highway. Follow Alfred Harrel for 7-8 miles into Hart Park. When entering the park stay to the right. About 100 yards in on the right you will find us. We are an easy find once there, a big flintknapping
demo banner is present also. Weather can play a part...but it takes a
